What's the difference between citation database and full-text database?
CIP is the cataloging data of books in publication, which is the abbreviation of English Cataloguing In Publication.

Bibliographic data compiled for books in the publishing process according to certain standards. Bibliographic data printed on the back of the title page or above the copyright page generated by book cataloging in print is called cataloging in print data.

The book number is ISBN, and the most intuitive is the bar code and a series of numbers on the back cover of the book.

It is distributed to all publishing houses by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China. The domestic ISBN is still on the second page of the book (generally on the reverse side of the title page) with CIP data, also called copyright page.

These two data are indispensable for China's book. If not, it becomes internal information.
