Hubei Huanggang Emergency Management Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public ordinary higher vocational college approved by Hubei Provincial People's Government and reported to the Ministry of Education for the record, organized by Huanggang Municipal People's Government and established in cooperation with Hubei Provincial Emergency Management Department. It is the first specialized emergency management vocational college in China. The college aims at serving emergency management and high-quality development of regional economy, and now has eight departments, including emergency rescue department, information security department, hospital information security department, transportation and construction engineering department and computer engineering department.
The college covers an area of more than 700 mu, with modern teaching building, training building, student apartment, canteen, library and playground, and 30 main buildings with a total construction area of 200,000 square meters. Among them, there are 206 standardized multimedia classrooms and 5 well-equipped practice places. There are training centers for computer, rescue technology, network wiring, information security, chemical safety technology, industrial robot technology, 3D printing, numerical control processing, automobile maintenance, ship simulation driving, fire rescue and so on.
College department
The college has a strong faculty, with more than 70 teachers with full and deputy senior titles10, teachers with graduate education or above10, and "double-qualified" teachers account for 60%. It has a group of Hubei technical experts, Chutian skilled teachers and eastern Hubei skilled teachers. At the same time, Wuhan University, Wuhan University of Technology, China Geo University, Huanggang Normal University and well-known experts and professors in the field of emergency management are invited as part-time teachers or visiting professors.
