Admission to Fujian Provincial Library is free.

Reading in Fujian Library is free, but you need a library card to borrow books. The library card must be handled at the library card handling office with my valid certificate, and you can borrow books only after handling it.

In Fujian Library, a large number of books and digital resources such as China HowNet and Wanfang are available for readers to use for free. Readers can also sign up for famous lectures and other activities for free.

Fujian library is rich in resources;

By the end of 20 17, Fujian Library had 3.44 million books, 2.72 million e-books, 35,000 kinds of electronic periodicals and 64 digital resource banks. It is open free of charge all year round, providing readers with 24-hour online service, with 50 branches.

By the end of 2008, Fujian Provincial Library had collected more than 30,000 kinds of publications from Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Macau, and nearly 400,000 kinds of ancient books and local documents from China (of which 1/4 of the ancient books in line and 1/2 of the rare books in Fujian Province).
