Huaihua No.3 Middle School is a provincial demonstrative senior high school directly under Huaihua Education Bureau and a window school for basic education in Huaihua.

The school was founded in 1958, formerly Huaihua No.1 Middle School. 1978, was assessed as a provincial, prefectural and municipal key middle school; 1997, was established as a key middle school in Hunan province; In 2002, he was identified as the organizer of the national western development assistance project "Hongzhi class"; In 2004, it was established as a model high school in Hunan Province.
