In A.D. 1 127, the army of the State of Jin plundered Bianjing City. Two emperors, Evonne and Zhao Huan, and more than 3,000 people, including queens, princes and princesses, were caught by Xu Jin and suffered, which Song Ting called "the shame of Jingkang". In the second year, Zhao Gou, King Kang, acceded to the throne in Yingtianfu, namely Song Gaozong. This person has been afraid of Jin people all his life, and belongs to the highest-ranking "begging for peace" and "surrendering". Although my heart was shaking, the slogan shouted loudly: "Give me back my palace, give me back my territory." I really don't know where to put this little bastard after Huidi and Qin Emperor returned to Beijing.
"The History of Song Dynasty" said: "The world is safe, pay attention to photos. The world is in danger, pay attention. " During the years of Jingkang and Jianyan, the court of Zhao and Song Dynasties, which valued literature over martial arts, relied more and more on brave officials. As a result, Yue Fei and Han Shizhong, two "powerful" generals, immediately surfaced.
At the beginning of Liang's career as a prostitute, Han Shizhong was in trouble. The Biography of Han Shizhong in Song Dynasty explains in detail: "Han Shizhong was born in Yan 'an. The wind is strong and the eyes are as fast as lightning. In his early years, he rode a pony bravely. If you are poor and have no property, you are still addicted to alcohol, and you can't be caught. "This unruly boy from northern Shaanxi is really a' general' material. /kloc-was called into the army at the age of 0/8, and immediately "took the lead and bravely crowned the three armies." "
In the fourth year of worshipping Ning, that is, 1 105, Han Shizhong first fought with Xixia people. He took the lead, cut off the enemy's head and threw it outside the city wall. After that, he moved to Jiangnan, Shandong and Hebei ... Every time he fought a tough battle, he would "cut two levels", "cut three levels" and "cut several levels" ... The boss finally gave him a Mao Mao fairy-"Deputy Wei Jinyong".
In the second year of Xuanhe, Fang La was pacified and Han Shizhong's future military status was established. 1 120 years, as a low-ranking "PianJiang", Han Shizhong followed Wang Yuan to the south of the Yangtze River to encircle Fang La. As soon as he arrived in Hangzhou, Song Jun was frightened by the aggressive attitude of the other side. "The general is afraid of nothing to do." Only Han Shizhong personally led two thousand soldiers to ambush and kill the enemy. Wang Yuan immediately noticed this brave subordinate, and praised him many times as an "enemy of ten thousand people". Since then, Wang Yuan has devoted himself to making friends with him and promoting him vigorously.
"Water Margin" boasted that "Song Wu tackled Fang La with one arm", which was a play made up by a novelist. "The History of Song Dynasty" clearly recorded this great achievement on Han Shizhong's head: "Shizhong chased Qingxi Cave in Zhou Mu, and the thief was divided into three caves according to the rock house. All the generals followed him and did not know how to enter." Shizhong dived into the valley and asked the wild girl for directions, that is, he stood up and walked straight, crossed the danger for several miles, smashed his cave, killed dozens of people, and the captive (Fang) wax was able to get away. "Although this credit was taken away by others, Han Shizhong became Wu Jielang. There is nothing wrong with being a Langguan, but it is too important to display your talents. Talents will not be buried forever, not this time and not next time. If you have real skills, you can always come in handy. When Zhao Gou ascended the throne, the imperial court was sold, and Han Shizhong was promoted to "Gwangju Observer", gradually becoming a general who kept his promise all the way.
From enlisting in the army to capturing Fang La alive-15 years, Han Shizhong, who has repeatedly made outstanding achievements, was almost run around. After standing for so many years, I have achieved nothing, which is disheartening. Just after Nanping Fang La, the unhappy Han Shizhong finally met the fallen Liang. Location, in the military prostitute courtyard in Jingkou.
Luo Dajing wrote "He Lu" in the Southern Song Dynasty, and there is an article "Mrs. Wang Qi" in this note. King Qiu was the title of Song Xiaozong after Han Shizhong's death. The so-called "madam" should refer to Liang. The book vividly describes: At dawn, Liang Hongyu was called to wait on the banquet. Suddenly, I bumped into a snoring tiger under the temple pillar. She runs too fast to go out. Later, people passed by the temple pillar one after another, but it was safe. When she looked again, the "tiger" became a "drunken soldier". A careful inquiry, just know this person is "Fang La alive" Han Shizhong! Liang Hongyu had a brainwave and thought: Is this the only thrill he has been thinking about for so long? If you are not mistaken, it is better to seize this opportunity and commit yourself to the other side to describe the down-and-out Han Shizhong as "a man of extraordinary achievements". After making up his mind, Liang made a decisive attack. "Please come to his house, eat and drink, and have fun at night." Deep affection, money, about husband and wife. "Too neat. Liang adopted a special way to choose her husband. She did not hesitate to "sell", first redeemed herself with "private money" and then married herself cleanly. ...
From this, I thought of a little thing: were those "Kung Fu Women" in ancient times all big and thick, black and strong? Even if he is beautiful, he looks like a weightlifter? Mulan, for example, has been wallowing among men for many years. She is tender-skinned, and her legs and waist are neatly trimmed. How can she keep her mouth shut? Can we fight? Unless Liang is really an "alternative": to work hard, to look good, at least to be "fit"; Otherwise, when she is a prostitute, no one will answer.
After three years of Xuanhe, 20-year-old Liang contentedly married 33-year-old Han Shizhong. According to the old saying, this is called "beauty with a hero", which is a typical romantic story. Only one thing is not satisfactory. After Liang passed the door, he was not a wife. But concubines. Although it is a "wing", this marriage still excites the bride.
1 176, on February 21st of the lunar calendar, Song Xiaozong chased Han Shizhong. At this time, it has been 25 years since Han Shizhong died. "Give Han Shizhong loyalty and martial arts, and enjoy the Gaozong Temple." There is also a "tombstone" special cylinder named "Zhongxing Left Founding Father Monument", which was inscribed by the emperor. The monument is ten feet three feet high and has an inscription of more than ten thousand words. This was written by Fan Chengda, a famous poet, and by Zhao Xiong, a minister of rites. According to the inscription, Han Shizhong married Bai, Liang, Mao and Thursday. "White", that is, the wife who became married, died before the Han Shizhong, and posthumous title was "Mrs. Qin"; The second wife "Liang", the legendary Liang Hongyu; The third wife "Mao" was also named "Mrs. Qin"; The fourth wife, Zhou, like Liang, was born as a prostitute. She was named "Mrs. Qin" before her death and was posthumously named "Mrs. Qi" after her death. Han Shizhong, four wives, rushed to appear and replaced in turn. Liang lives under the same roof as them. Do you still have to ask? Among these women, she is the most capable and powerful.
(2) How powerful is this woman?
Look at the imperial titles and you will know how powerful Liang is. Han Shizhong's other three wives, either named "Mrs Qin" or posthumously named "Mrs Qi", are obviously ready-made with her husband. Liang, on the other hand, exchanged his brilliant exploits for a gift from the imperial court and a rich watch. Not only did she enjoy the political treatment of the other three ladies, but she was also given the additional title of "Yang Guofu", equivalent to "the wife of two countries", with double salary. According to the ancestral system of the Song Dynasty, women were forbidden to go into politics, but the court set a precedent for Liang Hongyu-giving a hero wife a salary. "The hero wife gave a salary, which began in Yang Guo." Han Shizhong, among the four wives, why is Liang particularly outstanding? She enjoys the "internal salary" alone, which is of course very decent; As everyone knows, the stormy waves borne by this woman are far beyond the imagination of the outside world.
It is said that someone asked Mr. Hu Shi for Mo Bao, and he always wrote four words to give it away: "No donation." It means nothing more than encouraging everyone to work hard. No blood and sweat in vain. As long as you work hard, you will get something. This sentence is just right for Liang. "Biography of Song History" has her figure, and other materials have also added some "women's stories". In the most critical moment of the imperial court, in the most tense time of the war, Liang was always spirited. Li Xinchuan's Records of Years Since the Establishment of Yan always mentions her three major events. These things are rolled on the knife edge, not to mention women, even a seven-foot man, I'm afraid it's hard to do.
The first thing, give your life for the rebellion.
Three years after the proposal was made, that is,11March 29, the imperial court in the Southern Song Dynasty "fought in its throes", the imperial camp controlled Miao Fu, Liu Zhengyan and others, launched a rebellion in Lin 'an, killed hundreds of eunuchs such as Kang Lu and Wang Yuan, the envoy of the Tang Dynasty, and shot and forced Zhao Gou to abdicate, holding the Longyou Queen hostage. Han Shizhong and Zhang Jun opposed him together. However, he is a bit of a "boat"-Lin 'an City, where his wife Liang and his son are remanded. The hostages are in the hands of the rebels, can we still let go of our hands and feet to fight?
Liang, who was under house arrest by Miao Fu, lied about Han Shizhong in order to escape. Before leaving, she deliberately entered the palace and made an oath to the Queen Mother Longyou. Later, she "rushed out of the capital" ... one night she met Wang (Han Shizhong) in Jiahe. "That woman, with long hair and panting, flew hundreds of miles day and night. She brought important information about Lin 'an City, such as how Zhao Gou was held hostage, what is the latest trend of Miao Fu and Liu Zhengyan, the real intention of the Queen Mother's trip to Longyou, and so on. Finding out these details is tantamount to reassuring Han Shizhong, so as to deploy troops in a targeted manner. After the counter-insurgency, the imperial court rewarded Han Shizhong for his meritorious service, and promoted him to the posts of "proofreading, guaranteeing less, Wuning, Zhaoqing Army, and commanding". Since then, Liang has become a double "lady of the country".
The second thing is to drum up the golden hill.
This story is very famous. There is no difference between the records of the Peking Opera "Anti-Jin Bing" and "Biography of the History of Song Dynasty": in the fourth year of Jian Yan, that is, in March of 1 130, Han Shizhong fought against Wu Shu, a famous Jin State. Liang coordinated people from all walks of life, "beating gongs and drums" on the Jinshan River and directing operations. 8,000 elite soldiers besieged 100,000 troops of Jin Wushu in Huangtian.
In order to fight this battle well, Han Shizhong and Liang met, and his wife commanded the building of the ship, and her husband led the troops to divide the troops to intercept the army. On the battlefield where the war is raging and the arrow is like a migratory locust, Liang stands on a high place and looks at the river with great aplomb. She rolled up her sleeves and swung the drumstick to cheer for Han Shizhong and his men. The rumbling drums resounded through the sky, Liang's eyebrows stood high and his eyes shone with excitement. She has put life and death behind her. The blazing fire reflected the heroic female general, brother Song Jun, who was willing to work hard for her and take the lead. ...
Huang Tiandang camp, Song Jun has the absolute upper hand! The mighty Jin Wushu almost died in the reeds of the Yangtze River. Modern people say that war makes women go away-however, in all previous wars, neither victims nor rebels left women. I'm afraid no one will care whether Liang has been a prostitute or not, and no one will tell her what to do in her dusty years. In fact, patriots never care about their origins. As long as your actions are of great benefit to the country, the people and the times, China people are willing to set up shrines for the prodigal son and burn incense for prostitutes. In the battle of Huang Tiandang, Liang set up a memorial tablet for himself.
The third thing is to station troops in Chuzhou.
In the fifth year of Shaoxing, that is, in March of 1 135, Han Shizhong became the envoy of Huaidong and moved to Chuzhou in Huaidong. As a family member of the army, Liang went to his post together. It's nice to say, in Chuzhou; In fact, this is a wild place. I don't even have a ready-made place to live, and I have to lay my own bricks and tiles. The Records of the Years of Jianyan (Volume 87) records the details of the couple's entrepreneurship: "The mountains and mountains were completely destroyed, and the loyalty and righteousness of the world wore thorns, established military posts, and worked with scholars. His wife, Liang, weaves a thin house herself. " The Song Dynasty Biography of Han Shizhong also gave the same statement. According to common sense, Liang Guigui is Mrs. Qin and a local, so there is no need to get mixed up with soldiers. But in order to gain a foothold in Chuzhou, she must follow her husband, tie up with those soldiers and brothers, eat chaff and swallow vegetables and break ground.
Liang's face is facing the sky and his bun is fluffy. She looked at the camp in full swing and smiled happily. The lady's bright eyes ignited her work enthusiasm from top to bottom. Her beautiful lips greeted her from a distance, her elegant arms waved gently, and groups of foot soldiers moved with the wind. Han Shizhong has the talent of a general, and he knows very well that his wife's eyes are worth tens of millions. This is the personality charm of setting an example and glowing. Isn't it enough that women can ask men to "nod" when they do things? Three kinds of "forbidden goods at home"
Seven things to open the door: rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea, all of which are indispensable. There are too many household necessities. Although a gadget is very humble, it may be irreplaceable. According to Biography of Empresses in Sui Shu, the wife of Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty, Empress Dugu, was in charge of state affairs, and she was in charge of the emperor's eating and drinking Lazarus. One day, Emperor Wendi of Sui fell ill and needed two or two "Hu Fen" badly. Who knows, the Forbidden City has been turned upside down, but it has not been found. It seems that everyone has a "rainy day" and can use everything. "Yan Family Instructions Governing the Family" tells future generations that there are three prohibitions at home; Stay, and you'll be in trouble.
What Mr. Yan Zhitui forbids represents different attitudes towards life and has a direct impact on everyone's lifestyle and the quality of life of every family. These three "forbidden books at home" are: first, borrowing books; Second, look at service acrobatics; Third, the wizard prayed.
(a) borrowed baby, can't stay.
China advocated "farming and reading" in ancient times, which of course belongs to the cultural ideal of intellectuals. In Yan Zhitui's era, the whole people were "martial" and scholars were not popular. "Yan Family Instructions Mianxue" once sighed helplessly: "The rise and fall of learning is important to the world." When culture is valued, there are also times when intellectuals are seriously marginalized. In the long run, the elite, mainly intellectuals, is still the dominant society after professional politicians. Reading is an important channel to find a job. Collecting books has also become a "big job" for people of insight.
Yuan Mei, a great genius in Qing Dynasty, wrote a preface to Send Huang Sheng to Dongyang. Anyone who reads this article can appreciate the special feelings of intellectuals for books. "Don't borrow books, don't read books" only means a reading mentality of fear. The key point is that the privately owned materials are limited, and no one can compare with the library. Even in such a rich place as "Tianyi Pavilion", it is impossible to collect all the classics in the world. In order to read widely, you must look around and borrow books everywhere. Mr Yan Zhitui just doesn't trust these "borrowed treasures". "Yan's Family Instructions Governing the Family" also specifically mentioned this matter.
The first rule is, "You should take care of all the books you borrow", which is the most basic human nature. For the literati of past dynasties, writing a book is a lifetime thing, and collecting books is a lifetime thing. People who have this hobby regard books as the darling of their children. Or reading in the clear night, it is fun; Or "Wipe hard, don't make dust." Every bookshelf has its origin, and every book has its flavor. Scholars guarded it carefully for fear of getting dirty, waking them up and hurting them. Zhou Zuoren, a famous writer, once said, "People's wives and their own articles always look good." The attic of a bibliophile has this kind of conceit, and you won't change it for a palace.
Book collectors are very stingy. In the Five Miscellaneous Groups of the Ming Dynasty, Xie recorded an article "Yu Participated in Politics". He "collected tens of thousands of books and stored them on the first floor." As mysterious and selfish as the Golden House, the people who participated in politics built the library in a "Jedi" surrounded by water and separated by a wooden bridge. Besides, he didn't go upstairs until late at night. Just in case, when he was old, he put up a sign at the door of the study and said to people, "The building won't delay guests, and books won't be borrowed." Catalogers are generally mean, and even when they die, they have to seal the pages of their books in order to tell their children and grandchildren, "Be careful and cherish. Borrowing books is unfilial! " It seems that they love books to the point of being possessed. These characters are not easy to lend their property. How can a person with a little self-cultivation not know how to be grateful and grateful, and how can he not be prepared to cherish it?
Article 2, "It is one of the best things for a scholar-bureaucrat to have defects first and then make up for them." No one did it on purpose. Maybe they accidentally missed it. What if they damage the "borrowed treasure"? Of course, we must do our best to remedy and repair. Mr Yan Zhitui rose to the level of "scholar-bureaucrat". Just like the rules and regulations of Christians and the code of conduct of students, ancient society put forward extremely detailed behavioral constraints on those literati with status and attainments. There are hundreds of so-called "ways for yourself", also known as "a hundred lines of scholar-officials". Among them, books are borrowed and returned, which shows the importance that the ancients attached to books.
Mr Yan Zhitui gave two examples.
Let's talk about others first: there was a scholar in Jiyang (now Lankao, Henan)-surnamed Jiang, named Lu, and the word Yan Ya. He always studies hard. Turn slowly, roll slowly, take it gently and put it gently, so as not to hurt them. If you are in a hurry, you must leave your study, and you should put your books away and tidy them up. His books are always intact, and people naturally trust and rest assured.
Let's talk about ourselves again: Yan Zhitui proudly said, "Every time I read a book of sages, I will keep silent about it." Not only serious and respectful, but also pious and awe. Especially when I read the names of the sages in the ancient book The Five Classics, I dare not defile them. His old man's house has surpassed the general cultural feelings and is very religious.
"Yan Jiaxun" wrote with regret: "There may be a few messy cases scattered in the department, mostly polluted by children, young girls and concubines, which is really tiring." Isn't it annoying enough? The pen and ink on the desk are in a mess, and all kinds of reading materials are spread out. Can the scribbling of books there be cured? Either the wind blows and the rain blows, mice bite, insects eat, or women and children get dirty. This is no small matter-it's detrimental to your reputation and morality!
Books will inevitably be borrowed. Borrowing momentum is bound to be defiled and lost, and it is bound to be "failed" and "tired". How to reduce these unnecessary troubles? Mr Yan Zhitui didn't say; You don't have to tell me. Borrow quickly and avoid risks. "Borrowed baby" won't stay long.
So do modern people. In addition to paper money, we often borrow some valuable things, such as celebrity calligraphy and painting, high-priced jewelry, luxury cars, high-end cameras and so on. After giving a big face, I finally borrowed these treasures. How to use them and how to save them? If something goes wrong, can you bear heavy moral and human debts? ..... In fact, no matter ancient or modern, no matter ancient books or other valuables, as long as they are "borrowed treasures", they must not stay long.
(2) Extra pastimes cannot be left behind.
Mr. Yan Zhitui is very confident about his ancestral family style. "Yan Family Instructions Articles" openly declared: "My family's articles are very standardized and not vulgar." "There is no voice of Kevin·Z." The so-called "voice of political prestige" is a derogatory term. The Analects of Confucius Wei Linggong has an eternal conclusion: "Zheng Sheng is immoral." Confucius believed that Zheng and Wei's poems and songs in the Spring and Autumn Period were obscene and obscene, and they could not enter the room like emperors and scholars.
Yan Zhitui specifically mentioned his father Xie Yan (also known as Xie Yan). Xie Yan was a close confidant of Xiao Yi, the king of Xiang in Liang Dynasty, and Xiao Yi was also a man who loved literature. He once presided over the compilation of Xifu Xinwen, which included many famous literary articles. Among them, there is no such word as Xie Yan. Is Xie Yan's writing too bad or too few articles? Of course not. This man was brilliant and prolific, leaving behind him 20 volumes of poems, words, inscriptions, obituaries, books, tables, enlightenment and sparse articles. Even the official version of Liang Shi and the Biography of Scholars has a place for him. It can be seen that it belongs to the master of ci fu and article. Then why does Xifu Xinwen miss him? Yan Zhitui said a fair word for his father: "Even there is no voice of Kevin·Z in the world." In other words, Xie Yan's works are not rich, frivolous, lewd, erotic, and do not appeal to secular tastes. How can we make them appreciated? This regret has become the capital of peers. From Han Yan to Xie Yan, from Xie Yan to Yan Zhitui, they have been handed down from generation to generation. The so-called "canon" means elegance and purity, which is both an article and a morality. Such a family style, who can not be proud of inheritance?
Family tradition is often a combination of collective wisdom and everyone's essence. It is not that a person can "crash" by patting his forehead, doing a big event and writing an article; Only through the accumulation and tempering of several generations and more than ten generations can we clearly present the essence, spirit and verve of the whole family. Then it is passed down from generation to generation through words and deeds, or spiritual hints. The temperament of the school is different, for example, some are loyal, some are chivalrous, some are dissolute, and some are smart ... but the "core values" remain unchanged, that is, loyalty, filial piety and benevolence. Yan's "standardized writing" shows that the whole family is also fighting for "standardized writing". To realize the above ideals, we must choose between secular life. Only by paying attention to every point and following every inch can we be "unconventional".
Reading Yan's Family Instructions Miscellaneous Arts, I feel that Mr. Yan Zhitui is extremely strict in discipline and even shows a tendency of abstinence in order to "suit the family" and pursue "collection". At that time, there were many ways of leisure and entertainment, including calligraphy, painting, divination, archery, music, playing the piano, throwing pots, games and so on, some of which belonged to the "six arts" of Confucianism. Mr. Yan Zhitui commented one by one. Although no one overturned the boat, he took a wait-and-see attitude towards any kind of "acrobatics" It seems that it is ok to play once in a while. However, in general, it is often a plaything. No matter what kind of pastime, it may be addictive. Once you are addicted, you will naturally distract yourself and waste your career. In the end, you will accomplish nothing, empty-handed, and only a fun and empty waste in your arms.
When it comes to acrobatics, it is easy to "go astray", and it is impossible to get in touch with those dissolute dogs and horses outside acrobatics. Recreation, if it usurps the role of master, will inevitably become a great burden, which will not only hinder its own development, but also make people's families uneasy. Men who play mahjong often beat their wives; Women who soak in bars are prone to lovers ... bad habits and should not be introduced into the house.
Nowadays, some teenagers are so addicted to the internet that their parents can't stop them after trying their best. Some experts believe that there is no need to make a fuss. With the growth of age, children's self-control ability will eventually improve, and "Internet addiction" will naturally come and can be cured without treatment. This statement is extremely irresponsible. No matter what kind of pastime and hobby, "addiction" hits the key of human nature and fantasy is completely quit. Almost impossible. Yan Zhitui examined all kinds of pastimes, constantly shaking his head and motioning with his hand. What's his hurry? I am afraid that future generations will be idle and inadvertently recruited. Once this happens, the whole family, old and young, will be restless. Most unfortunately, "they are often served." It is even more inevitable that you will be "enslaved"-it will be boring for a lifetime.
(3) False prayers cannot be left.
Later generations classified Yan Zhitui as Confucianism, and his thoughts were indeed the direct biography of Confucius and Mencius. Confucianism advocates being a dutiful son at home and being a big official when going out. It seems that there is little talk about death and ghosts. It is unrealistic to ask the ancients to be materialists. They all fell into superstition to varying degrees.
An interesting story is recorded in The Analects of Confucius Advanced: Lutz asked his teacher Kong Qiu what he thought of ghosts and gods. The teacher rolled her eyes and didn't know where to start. He simply turned a corner and said, "If you can't convince people, how can you convince ghosts?" I can't even serve human beings well, so how can I deal with ghosts and gods? Lutz changed another question and asked the teacher to teach him about death. Confucius made another detour and replied, "If you don't know life, how can you know death?" Perhaps, the topic is too big; Perhaps Confucius didn't know these two questions. It is clearly recorded in The Analects: "Zi Mo, Machamp is connected with God."
It seems that Confucianism pays more attention to the real world. They don't necessarily doubt ghosts, but they don't do research. At the very least, they stay away from things that cannot be verified. This is also Mr. Yan Zhitui's housekeeping style. He forbade future generations and was obsessed with the illusory "God's Obstacle of Machamp". Compared with heaven and hell, the most certain thing is fireworks. He tried his best to guide future generations: manage his own people, do his own thing well, and cure his home ... Life is happy, just wait in the bright sunshine. Even if you hope for the afterlife, you should accumulate virtue and cultivate goodness in this life. So, Yan Zhitui will be gods, ghosts, those rotten things, all out.
The last section of "Yan's Family Instructions Governing the Family" emphasizes: "The prayers of my wizards are beyond words; There is nothing to pray for when writing this book. And what you see in Cao Cao is not paid for by arrogance. " Wizards refer to witches and wizards, women are witches and men are wizards. Fu Shu is a mysterious document for Taoist priests to exorcise ghosts and evil spirits and seek God to cure diseases. Zhang Hao is also a Taoist ceremony to eliminate disasters in the middle of the night. The above legends are common among ancient people, but in Yanshimen, they don't believe in evil. These messy things are never mentioned. Yan Zhitui told his children and grandchildren time and again: Don't waste money on these things!
Not only "Managing the Family" involves this sensitive topic, but "Yan's Family Instructions and Practices" is even more detailed. Among them, it is said that after death, the soul goes home; Scattering ashes at a funeral can send ghosts home; You can recite spells and pray; Painting tiles with calligraphy can kill evil spirits ... Yan Zhitui kicked them away and roared, "These things are inhuman. He is an elegant sinner and should be added to the discussion. " It seems that this idea is not only used in "keeping the family in order", but also can be extended to "governing the country and calming the world" ...
It's a miracle-Yan Zhitui believed in Buddhism, but instead of falling into the quagmire of superstition, he was able to keep a rational and sober mind. His decisive and thorough materialistic spirit has made many modern people with higher education ashamed.
