The 19 historical celebrities carved in the Relief Map of Historical Figures are closely related to the history of Baiyun Mountain. The first figure was Zheng Anqi of the Qin Dynasty, also known as Zheng Xian. It is said that he won eternal life in Baiyun Mountain, which led to a special festival in Baiyun Mountain-"Aotouhui", which has been passed down to this day. Every year on the 25th day of the seventh lunar month, many Guangzhou citizens board the boat. Su Dongpo, one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, not only has high attainments in poetry, calligraphy and seal cutting, but also has integrity and cares about people's feelings. It is said that he once went to Guangzhou and saw that Guangzhou citizens had difficulty drinking water. Later, when he was playing in Baiyun Mountain, he was inspired by the spring water of Baiyun Mountain and used bamboo tubes to guide the spring water to the city. So Su Dongpo invented the oldest and most primitive tap water. Nanyatang was founded in the Qing Dynasty, and was built by Zhang Weiping, the three great talents in Lingnan at that time, and used as a bookstore. At present, the Nanya Hall we see is mainly built with indoor stone tablets, and most of the poems in the hall are written by famous artists such as Xie Lingyun, Du, Liu Yuxi, Han Yu, Li Shangyin and Su Shi. This is Fusaiji of Su Dongpo, describing the ancient wood in Fusaiji, which rises to a hundred feet. Originally, it was the place where imperial doctors collected medicine in Zheng 'an period. It is said that Qin Shihuang sent people to Baiyun Mountain to ask for nine calamus to be picked as an elixir of life during Zheng 'an period. Su Shi wrote this historical fact and satirized Qin Huang's stupidity. There is also Du's "Stone Mountain in the South China Sea". Baiyun Mountain was called Shishan in ancient times. The poem describes the wonder of the scenery of Baiyun Mountain: the mountains are full of rocks of different sizes, "flying up and down, but still wanting to fall", and the climate is different day and night, "red and purple in the morning and green in the evening", which reminds us of the true face of Baiyun Mountain in those days.

Xianmoxuan has the largest collection of ancient China ink. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Lingnan poets successively set up Nanyuan Poetry Club, Yueshan Poetry Club and Hounanyuan Poetry Club in Baiyun Mountain, and gathered poets such as Liang and Chen Bangyan. Chen Xianzhang's ink-and-wash poem "After Exam" is preserved here. Aside from the content of poetry, his cursive calligraphy alone makes people feel familiar, and the font is vigorous and elegant, which is exactly what Mao Zedong learned in his early years.

Kang Youwei's poem "Riding to the Top of the Mountain" is particularly eye-catching, describing his riding up the mountain, regardless of the red leaves stained with clothes, the cold wind blowing, the fog covering the mountain, and unwilling to return home. Look closely at the past, and feel the profound historical and cultural accumulation through words and stone tablets.

Guangzhou Forest of Steles is a collection of Lingnan poems and inscriptions, which is a good place to appreciate Lingnan history and culture and exchange cultural and artistic ideas.
