The library of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology was founded in September of 1958, the independent building was completed in June of 1977, and the renovation and expansion project of the building was completed in June of 1998. Li Deshui, an alumnus of our school, the outgoing director of the National Bureau of Statistics and the director of the Social Development Department of the State Planning Commission, has always been concerned about and strongly supported the establishment and construction of the library expansion project. At present, the total construction area of the whole school library has reached more than 35,300 square meters.
