A, bidding object:
Adult reader cards, China citizens and foreigners aged 14.
Children's reader card,/kloc-minors under 0/4 years old.
Second, the application method:
The applicant shall apply with valid certificates. Valid documents include: second-generation ID card, Hong Kong and Macao Pass (or Home Visit Permit), Taiwan compatriot card, military card and passport (for foreigners). /kloc-Those under 0/4 years of age who do not have an ID card can hold a household registration book with the ID number printed on it.
The main literature reading areas of Shanghai Library are located in areas A and C, the exhibition hall is located in area D, and lectures are held in the multi-function hall (area B) and lecture hall (area D).
Area A is the reading area for ancient books, modern documents, patents, standards and other special scientific and technological documents, and area C is the reading and borrowing area for modern documents. Readers can enter the reading and lending area with valid reading and lending cards. Old people over 70 years old can also enter the room to read with their old-age cards. Public welfare exhibitions and lectures are free.

Readers entering the reading area are requested to store their books, magazines, schoolbags (larger than 20 * 14cm), food and other items in the left-behind locker on the first floor (please do not leave the items in the left-behind locker after closing).
Please keep the reading room quiet and put the mobile communication equipment in a mute state. There is a free drinking point in the reading area. Please don't eat or drink colored or sugary drinks in the reading area.
