Grimm's fairy tales have a wide range of contents, reflecting some universal life themes such as justice and evil, kindness and cruelty, honesty and hypocrisy, wisdom and ignorance, courage and cowardice, diligence and laziness. Its heroes are divided into two categories: one is the embodiment of kindness, such as tailor, miller, soldier, long-term worker and so on. They suffered misfortune at first, and after many twists and turns, they finally succeeded; The other is the symbol of evil, such as witches, demons, robbers, stepmother and so on. Most of them were temporary successes and ended in failure. The author always describes the two in opposition, sympathizes with and praises the former, whips and satirizes the latter. Expressed clear love and good wishes, and revealed simple life philosophy and values.
