What kind of experience is it to be able to study in Shanghai Jiaotong University?
I answer this question in the capacity of Jiao Tong University 17.

As we all know, Shanghai Jiaotong University is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, featuring science and engineering, covering nine disciplines, including science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, literature, law and agriculture. It is one of the five schools in East China and one of the C9 schools. Founded in 1896, formerly known as Nanyang Public School. After 120 years' development, it calls itself China Top3 (this is of course a joke. I've heard enough official propaganda and want to share some interesting content with you. The following is the text:

The first point is big, big, very big. The main campus is in Minhang, with an area of more than 4,000 mu, which is the largest single campus in Shanghai. There will be many doors when the school grows up. There are three most famous gates in Minhang Campus of Jiaotong University, Siyuan Gate, Arc de Triomphe and Temple Gate. Each has its own story. Siyuanmen looks like slippers from a distance, so everyone calls it slipper door. The height of the Arc de Triomphe is18.96m, which corresponds to 1896. The temple gate is the gate that imitates the Xuhui campus. Because it happens to face China Normal University, it is the only way for boys from Jiaotong University to go to China Normal University. When I first came to Jiaotong University, I couldn't do without navigation for the first two months. No matter eating, going to class or going back to the dormitory, you can't survive without navigation. The picture below shows the East Gate, which is the Temple Gate.

Below is the Minhang Campus Library.

The second point is the ratio of men to women. Is the ratio of male to female in Jiaotong University really as horrible as what is rumored outside? The answer is yes, but it depends on the major. Electrical engineering and other projects will only be more horrible than the rumored seven to three nights. There will be more girls than boys in the School of Humanities Design in the outer court. I still remember that there were only two girls among more than 20 people in my junior class, but our class was much better, just one to one. Although there are many boys, we have China Normal University 20 meters away from home. It is claimed that the ratio of male to female is three to seven, which is just complementary, so the two schools communicate frequently, you know? ̄)。 In addition, I attach a fan map with the ratio of male to female. I hope it will help everyone. Thank you.
