Cong Cong, 1958 began to publish poetry, 1979 joined the Chinese Writers Association, and once presided over the essay writing work of the World Children's Poetry Competition and the International Youth Letter Writing Competition in China; 1995 participated in the "Third Asian Children's Literature Conference" and read the paper "Children-oriented and Adult World"; Up to now, he has published literary and artistic works of various genres in more than 500 newspapers and periodicals at home and abroad, and published more than 30 books (including poems). He has successively won 19 awards such as the National Children's Reading Excellence Award, the first Bingxin Book Award and the China Book Award. The trilogy of childhood published by 1999, with more than 900,000 words, can be regarded as his representative works, such as the novel Hutong far from the Concession, the village where money is fragrant, the city where the sea () passes, and the fairy tale poetry anthology The Great Poet of Mantis. 1986 was awarded the title of editor-in-chief.
