A book about the post-80s economic situation.
These days, in the name of people, officialdom, folk, system ... let people talk about it.

Yes, we all belong to these words, not in officialdom, but in the folk; Not in the system, just outside the system.

System is a kind of pain, a hurdle, a wall, a besieged city, a dividing line between Yin and Yang, and a Meng Po bridge. ...

There are countless people outside who sharpen their heads and want to go in, but you can't see the heads of Wuyang Wuyang in the annual "national examination" (civil service examination).

There are also countless people who want to come out. From the "six gentlemen of Wantong" (such as Pan Shiyi and Feng Lun) who successfully seized the first wave of real estate development opportunities in China in the 1990s to the now common "naked resignation", post-80s directors and county heads, there are always many reactionaries who take the initiative to smash the golden rice bowl.

How difficult is it to take this step?

For a long time, a reader who added me after reading my article has been quietly paying attention to me and chatting and interacting occasionally, but I don't know who TA is and what he does.

Until the other day when I wrote "Ask yourself with in the name of people: Why can't I be an official", TA had a long voice chat with me on the Internet, a sister born in 1974.

She is now in this system, but did not disclose what she does.

Outsiders, rural people, entered a unit within the system after going to college, and stayed for nearly 20 years. There is a strong reluctance in her voice:

"I really don't like the (working) way within the system. I really want to come out, and I'm not blindly coming out ... It's no problem to support the elderly within the system, and it's also very comfortable to stay-but comfort comes at a price. You have to clear your mind, want to be a thoughtless person, like a puppet, led by the nose, so that you can move to the left, and you can move to the left; Let you move to the right, you move to the right, I really don't like it ...

I've been thinking about it for over a year. I have discussed with my family for more than a year, but from my parents, my wife to my child, I strongly oppose it-my child 14 years old will be promoted soon.

I came up with it with great passion from the beginning, just like a bend from 0 degrees to 180 degrees-my family and I used to think within the system, but now my thoughts have changed a lot and I can't be a puppet without thoughts. ...

But under their opposition, I broke back from 180 degrees to 0 degrees, and I seemed to hear the bones crunching, which was so painful ... I didn't think I could break them!

In fact, they didn't want to wear it yet, which left me a lot of interest. My dad said that if I started a business, it would be unless I let him die a few years earlier! He's worried about me starting a business, and maybe they have problems supporting the elderly. ...

More than 40 years old is not an impulsive age. Now you should be particularly mature, and you have no contradiction with anyone, and you have no bad relationship with anyone. I don't want to live like a puppet for the next few decades!

I said to my sister:

Still have to listen to your inner voice. If you especially want to come out, you should make full psychological and material preparations, including social resources and contacts.

The moment I came out, it was a matter of "one breath", but this "one breath" was not anger, but courage.

There is no monthly salary, no one is full of respect for you, and there is no crowding round. In the past, others begged you, and now you beg others. You have no social status, loneliness, despair, struggle, bankruptcy ... all of them support yourself.

It's hard to get out, but it's not so difficult if you are fully prepared. So many people who came out of the system are still alive and well.

Big sister said that she has been optimistic about a project and came out in April. Wish her all the best!

Do you regret that step?

I have worked in a public institution for more than ten years before, which can only be counted in the 0.5-line system.

I don't understand the definition of so-called system and administration. I can only say phenomenon.

Up, down, left and right are grades, and everything should be reported for instructions and decided by Committee X.

But the so-called discussion and decision is: take the form seriously and go through the motions in a down-to-earth manner.

The important things are all dark under the lights, and the discussion in a big way is actually trivial. All incumbents will not discuss with their predecessors, including their projects and instructions.

All public competitions are accompanied by the prince, and all evaluations are basically preset.

Of course, there are also appointments that have been ruined by democratic evaluation, and there are also dark horses.

A seat was robbed by dozens of people, and the hair was all white for a place class. ...

Some new projects are launched, and new departments and offices are set up just to arrange people.

……

This is within the system.

I don't remember how many people have asked me this question. How did you get out at that time? I don't want to describe it. Meaningless. After coming out, it is nothing more than doing things in another place. Is it meaningful to always talk about how you got out?

But there is no way, the audience is interested in that moment and don't know what kind of psychology it is.

People always ask: Do you regret it now? When you come out, if there is a better unit to go to, will you still start a business? If I let you go back now and give you a place, will you go back?

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Such a question is boring. I've been out for years. Are these questions meaningful?

But I still patiently and sincerely replied that the road was chosen by myself, not for children to play house. What is there to regret?

If a better company had let me in, I should not have chosen to start a business. Entrepreneurship is really done by people who have no way out.

But unfortunately, this good unit did not appear at that time. I worked for more than a year, and then a good company let me go. Do you think I will go? It's like two people falling in love and breaking up. I married another man, and now my ex has appeared. Am I going to divorce again and go with him?

Obviously not. Doing the right thing at the right time is a bigger mistake.

I think my personal experience can give some people inside and outside the besieged city a reference. You can't turn back on the road you have traveled, nor can you turn back on the people you missed. Even if you are wrong, you can only make mistakes.

03

How did everything go after that step?

With my very limited circle, I searched for those who left the system and how they are doing now. Only a few people start businesses, and most of them go to enterprises as managers.

The director of the finance department of a media company went to an internet financial platform after coming out, and did it for several months, which was not suitable. After quitting my job and staying at home for a while, I finally figured out that he was most needed to make money at home, so I went to an internet company. Now I'm used to it. Good job.

The director of the finance department of another media company came out and started a business with others. He was pulled over by his friends because he didn't know what was going on. He broke up after a few months, and then he went to a futures company. He didn't get used to it and came out a few months later. Now he is a new media, but he still feels confused. I miss the golden age of traditional media, but this era has passed.

As an advertising salesman of the media, it is natural to come out, the company and customers are ready-made, and there is no problem of incompatibility.

A large group company also recruited many executives from within the system, including the mayor, director, county magistrate, editor-in-chief, etc ... But here everyone can only listen to one boss, and it is common for the boss to yell at them in front of many people.

They all seem to have strong adaptability, and people with high emotional intelligence can eat them everywhere, but they still have strong institutional traces and their styles are reflected.

For example, it's sloppy in front of the boss, but it's just the opposite for the people below, you know.

After a colleague of mine came out, the boss also came out of the system, from the principal to the deputy bureau. Her famous saying is: the boss of a private enterprise is an emperor, and we should treat the boss like an emperor. Everything she says and does has strong hints and argot. Like my colleague's careless personality, she couldn't understand it at all, so she broke up soon. However, the senior executive of this deputy bureau could not enter the blood of private enterprises at all, and later I heard that he had left.

PS, finally remind people who are coming out or have come out. Now that you are out, you must have the courage to cut off the old circle. Unless you have to cooperate with your old club, you will only suffer loss, frustration and loneliness.

The world is very big, and there is room for you everywhere. But the world is so big that no place is easy to mix.

The choice of becoming, being high and being high is entirely in your own hands.

If you are not a fish, you don't know the happiness of fish.
