Hardcover book: A book binding method with a protective hard back cover (usually cardboard, leather covered with fabric, thick paper or calf leather). Chinese mainland's books are usually paperbacks, but paperbacks are not suitable for preservation. Hardcover books are beautiful and easy to preserve, and have high collection value, so collectors and libraries like hardcover books.
