What's the difference between paperback books and hardcover books?
The difference between paperback books and hardcover books lies in:

Paperback book: the production process is simple, the cost is low, and it is convenient for mechanized production. Paperback books can be divided into the following categories because of some different technologies: wire paperback, sewing paperback and adhesive paperback.

Hardcover book: A book binding method with a protective hard back cover (usually cardboard, leather covered with fabric, thick paper or calf leather). Chinese mainland's books are usually paperbacks, but paperbacks are not suitable for preservation. Hardcover books are beautiful and easy to preserve, and have high collection value, so collectors and libraries like hardcover books.
