Go to a good wood shop and choose some hardwoods. There are many large log shops in Europe. Kimura's drying and cutting are carried out according to strict standards, and it can be cut and tenon-removed for free, so consumers only need to say the requirements when buying.
Step 2: Wood processing
You can plane wood in the wood shop.
Step 3: Blanking according to the size.
In this example, we won't provide you with drawings, because it is relatively simple, and the overall size is 28 inches high and 25 inches wide. We mainly study their production technology. After the wood is planed, it can be cut and cut as needed.
Step 4: Cutting Angle
When the two plates are assembled, they are cut at a 45-degree angle, and one side of the plates is tenoned and the other side is slotted. In this way, the boards are closely meshed, and the tenoning and grooving of European-style wooden furniture have certain norms. If there is a professional tool to tenon when making, if not, fix it on the back with L-shaped connecting fittings.
Step 5: Layout
Check the layout of all dimensions and mark the attachments. Domestic furniture is usually fixed with wood screws when connecting, while in Europe, traditional high-end furniture is glued. There are standards for bonding time and drying time.
The use of wood screws is easy to cause interface fracture and breakage.
Step 6: Slotting and tenoning
Use professional tools to bond the tenon and groove on the board at a 45-degree angle.
Connecting part style
Step 7: Combine
Use woodworking glue to connect the plates, and use professional fixing devices to ensure the bonding time and drying time of the plates.
Step 8: Furniture backboard
If you like, you can see the wall without a backboard. Here the author uses a semi-backboard. The function of the backboard is not only to block the back, but also to strengthen the connection. Here, instead of using the domestic five-layer board with grooved edges, the back plate is tenoned and slotted like a side plate. Strengthen the overall firmness.
Step 9: Polishing
If you don't work hard when polishing, find a good paint. European-style furniture, when polished, strives for perfection, requiring flatness, smoothness and no burr. Choose sandpaper with different grinding specifications, coarse first and then fine.
Step 10: revise and complete the design.
When gluing on the road, use special tools to fix the whole furniture and the side elevation in all directions. The bonding time should be no less than 24 hours and the fixing time should be no less than 36 hours.
Step 1 1: edge grinding.
Grind the connecting edge and body corner.
Step 12: Hand grinding
Machine grinding has limitations and cannot be involved, so it needs manual grinding. The method is still based on coarse and fine, and the handfeel and difference between polished and unpolished areas are carefully compared to achieve complete consistency.
Step 13: Select paint
When processing furniture, test the paint on waste and scrap. Choose your favorite color and coating thickness. Only in this way can we know fairly well and make no mistakes in the final treatment.
Step 14: Dust removal
Remove all the dust from the shelf.
Step 15: Draw.
Generally brush the paint twice, wipe it with a soft cloth after the first time is completely dry, observe the stains after the whole, and brush it again after treatment.
Step 16: Brush the surface protective layer.
Coat the surface protective layer with polyurethane.
