Tongxiang Library, namely Lu Feikui Library, is a city (county) level public library. Tongxiang Library was formerly known as the County Cultural Center Library. 1in August, 976, the propaganda department of the county party Committee approved the establishment of the county library, which is still located in the cultural center. 1In August, 1984, the county people's government allocated more than 400,000 yuan of special funds to build Tongxiang County Library at No.26 Wenchang Road, Wu Tong Town, covering an area of more than 4 mu with a construction area of 2,500 square meters. Completed at the end of February 1985, opened in June 1986+00. 1993 was renamed Tongxiang Library. In August of 200 1 year, Tongxiang Municipal People's Government invested 2 1 10,000 yuan to rebuild the new museum in different places. The new building is located on the west side of the municipal administration building, covering an area of 5,640 square meters and a construction area of 7,200 square meters. It was completed at the end of February 2002 and opened on March 3, 2003. The New Tongxiang Library is the most modern city (county) public library in the province at present. The new library consists of books lending, newspapers, local documents, reference books, books published by Zhonghua Book Company, electronic reading, academic research, children's lending, children's self-study, counseling, editing and copying. The new library has a collection of 6.5438+0.6 million volumes, including Sikuquanshu, Sikuquanshu Catalogue Series and Republic of China Series. There are more than 3,000 kinds of local documents in Tongxiang, and more than 5,000 kinds of books such as Integration of Ancient and Modern Books and Four Notes published by Zhonghua Book Company.
