Reina said that the Belt and Road Initiative connects Asia, Europe and Africa, and India's participation is very important. The Belt and Road Initiative can not only help relevant countries strengthen infrastructure construction, but also consolidate bilateral relations and enhance economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges.
In recent years, with the joint efforts of the Indian and Chinese governments, bilateral cultural exchanges have become increasingly frequent. Many China classical literatures have been translated into Hindi, and Chinese versions of Hindi literature have been published one after another. Many Indian universities, such as Delhi University and Benares Hindu University, have set up Chinese majors. Similarly, many universities in China, such as Peking University and Shanghai International Studies University, also offer Hindi majors. Indian food, costumes, dances and movies are loved by more and more friends in China. Indians living in China can quickly integrate into the local culture and enjoy life. With the continuous strengthening of cultural exchanges between India and China, the exchanges between the two peoples are bound to be closer. This is also the common aspiration of the two peoples.
Although the Indian government has not explicitly expressed its participation in the "Belt and Road", India has actually participated in it. India is the second largest shareholder of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, which is a supporting financing mechanism for the Belt and Road Initiative. At present, India and China should have sincere discussions and active communication on the construction of the "Belt and Road". I believe that with the passage of time, the economic and trade cooperation between India and China will certainly continue to advance.
