Readers with expired books can continue to borrow books after returning the documents and paying the overdue fee.
The overdue fee can be paid by using the overdraft function of the reader card on the self-service lending and returning equipment, with the overdraft limit of 10 yuan, or by taking the reader card to the service desk in cash.
After the overdraft amount reaches the upper limit, the lending function of the reader card will be suspended. Please make up the overdraft at all service desks at one time.
Please check books, periodicals and audio-visual materials carefully before borrowing books. If there are any defaced or missing pages, you can explain them to the staff, and they will affix the defaced seal. When returning, if it is found that there is any stain without the seal of the staff, the consequences will be at your own risk.
If the document is defaced or lost, please go to the service desks at all levels with the reader's card according to the Detailed Rules for Handling Readers' Violation in Capital Library.
For readers who refuse to pay overdue fees and compensation fees, the library has the right to stop or cancel their readers' cards, and the deposit will be used to offset the compensation fees until it is resolved through legal channels.
