Its predecessor was Lan Xin Bookstore, one of the earliest libraries in China, and now it is a national first-class library. The present building is located at the southern end of the East Head Cultural and Art Center of Ruian Plaza, and was opened to the public on February 30th, 20 10, with a building area of 10657 square meters.
