Please visit our Pei Ming building on the beach in Boston. The library and museum are located in Cape Columbia, in a 9.5-acre park with pine trees, shrubs and wild roses, which reminds people of the scenery of Cape Cod that President Kennedy is familiar with. From May to 10, President Kennedy's 26-foot sailboat Victura was exhibited in the museum near Boston Harbor.
We are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day, and we are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides financial support, staffing and creative resources for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
The Kennedy Library Foundation originated from john fitzgerald kennedy Library Co., Ltd., a non-profit company, which was incorporated in Massachusetts on1February 5 1963 to build and equip the john fitzgerald kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Massachusetts.
Under the leadership of its first president, Robert F. Kennedy, the company raised more than $20 million in private funds for the Kennedy Library through public donations. Many responsibilities of the company include raising and managing all construction funds, choosing the library address, appointing architects and exhibition designers, selecting general contractors and actually supervising all buildings. Kennedy Library Company transferred the ownership of the completed library to the National Archives of the United States on1October 20th 1979.
1984, the work of john fitzgerald kennedy Library Company was reorganized, and it was established as the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation according to the laws of Massachusetts, which is a 50 1(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Foundation currently employs 2 1 full-time and part-time employees, who work closely with the federal employees of the library to help complete the mission of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
The private financial support provided by the Kennedy Library Foundation enables the federal government to expand the research and archival capacity of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, carry out marketing and public information projects, provide internship and research scholarship programs, strengthen its museums and exhibitions, and provide nationally recognized education and public programs.
By sponsoring and managing projects such as the John F. Kennedy Courage Introduction Award, the Outstanding American Series and the John F. Kennedy Courage Introduction essay competition for high school students, the foundation and the library are United in a common mission to continue President Kennedy's ideal of engaging in political and public service as a glorious and patriotic career. The close relationship between libraries and foundations shows the benefits of this public-private partnership to society and American taxpayers.
