Jiangnan University has an indissoluble bond with the Rong family. Jiangnan University now has a public library, which was donated by Vice President Rong Yiren.

Jiangnan University, located in Wuxi, is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). In 2003, Donghua University Wuxi Campus was merged into Jiangnan University. As of June 2022, the school covers an area of 3,250 mu, with a building area of 6,543,800 square meters, a library of 2,550,000 books and 0/8 colleges/kloc.
