Tanggu No.1 Middle School in Tianjin Binhai New Area, formerly known as Jinning Middle School, was founded in June 1946, and has been renamed as Tangda Middle School, Tanggu Middle School and Tanggu No.1 Middle School. 1959 school was identified as a key middle school in the city. 1984 was named as the national sports traditional project school. In 2004, he was awarded the title of model high school. The school has two campuses, high school and junior high school, covering an area of 130 mu, both located in the center of Tanggu street.

Tanggu No.1 Middle School has been renamed five times since it was founded on 1946. Before Tanggu Jinning Middle School (August1946 ~ August 1949) 1946, the secondary education on both sides of Gukou was a wasteland. After the Japanese invaders surrendered, Mr. Li Guangrui, a student of Chongqing University, returned to his hometown Tanggu. After a year's hard work, he formally established "Tanggu Jinning Middle School" in August of 1946 on the Haihe River Delta belonging to Tianjin County and Ninghe County, with the words "Tianjin" and "Ning" as the school name, which is the school name of Tanggu No.1 Middle School.
