Meishe Community Neighborhood Committee was renamed from the original Bailong Management Area in February, 1998. Its jurisdiction covers Xiangmei Road in the east, the junction of Meilan Branch and Qingnian Road in the north, Bailong South Road in the west, Chengxin Liyuan Community, the new dormitory area of the security office, the north wall of the 25th Branch, the north wall of the government compound in Meilan District, Qunshang Road in the south and Qingnian Road in the north. Total area of jurisdiction 1.6 square kilometers; Resident organs, organizations and enterprises 17, of which provincial units are Hainan Provincial Public Security Department and Hainan Provincial Public Security Department accreditation center. The total population of the jurisdiction is 22,358; Among them, the permanent population is 16023 and the floating population is 6335.
