A brief introduction to the global Chinese youth literature prize in the new era

Organizer: Faculty of Literature, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The literary prize aims to connect young people in universities, literary circles and Chinese communities in other parts of the world, build a global Chinese literature network, and create colorful literary works for the new world trend of thought and the global Chinese village in the 2 1 century. The Chinese University of Hong Kong College of Literature specially invited universities at home and abroad to co-sponsor this essay activity.

Universities and academic groups co-sponsor the Chinese Language Awards all over the world. Hong Kong co-organizers Radio Television Hong Kong and New Thinking Bookstore assisted in promotional activities, and Hong Kong Central Library assisted in holding the 200 1 exhibition of winning works. Asian co-organizers outside Hong Kong include the Beijing Chinese Translators Association in the Mainland, the Chinese Department of the College of Literature of Northeast Normal University in Jilin, the College of Literature of Zhengzhou University in Henan, the Art Department of Wuhan University in Hubei, the College of Literature of Nankai University in Tianjin, the China Modern Literature Information and Research Center of East China Normal University in Shanghai, Hong Kong, the Taiwan Province Affairs Office of Shandong University, the ludong university Foreign Languages Institute of Shandong, the Foreign Languages College of Anhui University and the English Department of the Foreign Languages College of Jiangsu Nanjing University. European and American co-organizers include Matteo Ricci Chinese Dictionary Association of France, Chinese Writers Association of Hawaii, and East Asian Language and Culture Department of University of California, Davis.

All entries will be reviewed by the organizer first, and then judged by the jury to determine the ranking.

Each group has one champion, one runner-up and one runner-up, three first-class merits, ten second-class merits and ten encouragement prizes. The first prize, the second prize and the third prize won HK$ 20,000,12,000 and 8,000 respectively, and the first prize and the second prize were10,000 respectively, and 500 yuan was awarded as an encouragement prize. Besides, there are many prizes. Winners of the first prize, the first prize and the first prize of each group will be invited to participate in the literature lecture, the exhibition of winning works and the award ceremony held in Hong Kong in May of the same year, and exchange experiences and share awards with many literary masters and other award-winning rookies.
