The Story of Three Loves
On a cold rainy day, we temporarily canceled the original plan of the day and wandered around the Seine River. When we saw a small bookstore, we went in. Looking back, I found that it was the famous Shakespeare bookstore.

Paris Shakespeare Bookstore, named "Top Ten Bookstores in the World", is also called "one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world", mainly because of its historical background and geographical location.

It has a small facade, quietly hidden in the corner of the city, on the soft bank of the Seine.

Shakespeare Bookstore was born after World War I, when Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Stein and other "lost and thoughtful generations" were all patrons of the bookstore. The bookstore was closed because of Nazi harassment in World War II. 195 1 year, American george whitman opened a bookstore similar to the original Shakespeare bookstore opposite Notre Dame. The facade is not big either. It's hard to believe that this is the literary holy land of the top ten bookstores in the world if Shakespeare's head is not hung on the door.

Its interior decoration is very retro, with new books on the first floor and a library on the second floor. The creaking stone stairs lead to the second floor, and you can see that the words on the stairs also show the humanistic feelings and historical features of famous bookstores.

On the second floor, bookshelves with four walls flush with the roof are filled with old books. At that time, there was a bed in the pile of books, which was a gathering place for literati and a temporary residence.

"If you are lucky enough to live in Paris when you are young, it will accompany you wherever you go for the rest of your life, because Paris is a flowing feast." Young Hemingway moved to Paris as a reporter in Europe, where he made a group of literary friends and often came to Shakespeare's Bookstore by the Seine. Later, this group of people became famous masters like Hemingway. Bookstores are the backing of these Americans who were poor writers at that time, and they have also become an important landmark to witness their literary career and a warm place in winter.

It can be said that Shakespeare Bookstore, together with Paris at that time, created such great writers as Hemingway-those young, poor and ambitious people. Woody Allen, the great director, dedicated a whole movie "Midnight in Paris" to those great and extraordinary people.

Since the owner of the bookstore is an American, in the 1950s, the bookstore had close ties with American writers and became their meeting place in Paris. Later, it was officially renamed Shakespeare Bookstore.

The award-winning trilogy Love Is Before Sunrise, Love at Sunset and Dusk and Love Before Midnight was directed by richard linklater. I am writing this article mainly to introduce the second part, because one of its locations is Shakespeare Bookstore. However, the stories of the hero and heroine are coherent in three films, which correspond to their youth, prime of life and middle age respectively. So, for a deeper understanding, I finished watching these three movies.

The trilogy "Love in" is regarded as the standard of love by many people. The development time of the first two plots is connected. It propped up the whole play with the chat between the hero and heroine. However, it is not boring at all, and it is also very attractive.

Before Sunrise tells the story of Selena, a French woman, and Jesse, an American, meeting on a European train and getting off together in Vienna. Because of mutual affection, we started a vivid chat mode on the train, talking about study, work, life and ideals, which was very speculative.

When we got off the bus, we both felt unfinished, so we continued to talk on the streets of Vienna until the evening. They came to the park, lay on the grass in the park, looked at the starry sky and talked until sunrise.

Perhaps many people will be curious, is the film just arranged for a lengthy chat to advance? Actually, it's not surprising, because it's only been one day. It's normal for two strange young people to meet and have a good impression on each other. They both want to spend more time together and talk about topics of mutual interest.

Selena will leave Vienna for Paris by train. Finally, when they left, they romantically sprinkled a handful of dog food. They don't want to exchange phone numbers, because they both want to see each other again, fearing that there will be too much interference and misunderstanding on the other end of the phone. They just agreed to meet in Vienna one day after six months.

After breaking up, they spent half a year in beautiful expectation.

Then came the second movie, Love at Sunset and Dusk.

Description: Nine years ago, Jessie and Selena met in Vienna and had a crush on each other. We have only been together for one day, and we have to say goodbye in a hurry because of our respective jobs. When they left, they met for half a year and met again. As a result, they stood in the wrong position and competed for nine years.

Nine years later, selena was working in Paris. Jesse, the hero, was an American writer. He came to Shakespeare's Bookstore from America to promote his new book. Nine years later, the hero and heroine met again in the bookstore. First, Selena stood outside the bookstore and looked at Jesse through the window. Her appearance and dress have changed. ......

Next, because Jesse is going back to America, they only have one afternoon. Although it has been nine years, they hit it off at once. From bookstores to coffee shops, parks and cruise ships, they talked about Kan Kan: the people and events in the past nine years, and their changes. ......

On the cruise ship, Jessie and Selena looked at the banks of the Seine River in the sunset, moved by what they saw, and were reluctant to go. At this time, the picture was particularly quiet, and a thousand words rippled in it, like microwaves blown by the wind on the Seine.

On the cruise ship, they looked at Notre Dame de Paris in the distance and had an emotional conversation. The implication is that if something is missed, it won't happen again.

Notre Dame de Paris, the background of the scene, was also damaged in the fire, which made this scene an eternal classic.

End of the film: Because each has his own emotional destination, Jesse is married and has two children, and Selena has a boyfriend. Nine years ago, we met again. The ripples of love in my heart are like those in the sunset. Beauty and sadness are beyond words, but times have changed. They said goodbye silently and politely, and then left.

This seemingly endless romantic story is beautiful and unforgettable. After the aftertaste, I can't help but feel a little distressed that this woman, who has never appeared in this film, unexpectedly became a passerby and a supporting role in this long-lost love story.

And the third film "Love in" is not surprising. It's about two people getting married and having children. In real life, they have endless quarrels and compromises. They tried to repair it, but they were soon broken by new contradictions. Life is a chicken feather, and the original good love has dried up. ......

In fact, although the third part is put together with the first two parts, whether it is good or not, the truth of true love is still left to the Oscar judges to appreciate, and the beauty is still left to poetry and distance.

"Love at Sunset and Dusk" and "Love Before Midnight" were nominated for Oscar for best adapted screenplay.

The second film I will never forget is Shakespeare Bookstore on the Seine. There is also the beautiful Notre Dame de Paris on the Seine at night, which is not only the place where we travel, but also the most brilliant location of this film.

Notre Dame de Paris was later ruthlessly destroyed by a fire and may never be found again. I remember the day we went, Notre Dame de Paris was closed, and we didn't go in to see it. That hasty farewell turned out to be both beautiful and regrettable.
