Picture books, also known as "picture books", are children's books that combine pictures and words organically. Picture books form stories and children's songs through the mutual cooperation of pictures and texts, thus edifying children and achieving the purpose of education. Reading picture books plays a significant role in improving children's aesthetic consciousness, language ability and life experience. Therefore, it is particularly critical to popularize picture book reading in kindergartens. This paper discusses the promotion strategies of picture book reading in kindergartens from three aspects: creating reading environment, scientifically selecting picture book materials and enriching the forms of picture book promotion activities, in order to provide reference for related teaching activities in kindergartens.
