Taiyuan Art Museum is located in the northeast corner of Cultural Island in Changfeng Cultural Business District, next to Shanxi Provincial Library. The project has a total land area of 62,000 square meters, a total construction area of 32,000 square meters, a building height of 22.85 meters, an investment of 370 million yuan and a steel frame structure. The project plan was completed by American PSC architectural design firm, and further designed by Southeast University Architectural Design and Research Institute and Taiyuan Architectural Design and Research Institute.
