How does the library become the messenger of civilization?
Dear teachers and students:

Hello everyone!

The five-week "Civilization and Etiquette Month" is coming to an end. For more than a month, under the leadership of the school committee, with the strong support of all grade offices, with the careful organization of all classes and the joint efforts of teachers and students, this activity has been solidly promoted and achieved remarkable results. Students' quality and habits have been well exercised, and a healthy, civilized and progressive campus environment is gradually taking shape. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to all the teachers and students who have made great efforts to make this activity a complete success, and warm congratulations to the award-winning classes and students.

Mr. Ye Shengtao, a famous modern educator, once said what education is. To put it simply, in a word, it is to form good habits. Good habits include good manners, living habits and study habits, including observing school rules and discipline, speaking Mandarin, using polite language when talking with people, loving labor, paying attention to hygiene, and stressing order in public places. Some students may say, this is a trivial matter, it doesn't matter. In fact, this understanding is very wrong. A person's behavior habits represent a person's quality, and also determine a person's interpersonal relationship, the success or failure of a person's study and career, and even a person's fate.

In the spirit of being responsible for every student, the school launched the "Civilization, Etiquette and Norm Month" at the end of the Year of the Tiger, and successfully concluded this activity at the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit. For more than a month, all classes have actively responded to the call of the school and urged students to be civilized people, speak civilized words and do civilized things through various forms of activities, so as to cultivate a new civilized atmosphere. It has become a common phenomenon to understand etiquette and civilization on campus. Let me sum up this activity:

First, vigorously publicize and do solid work.

1 and1In early February, the school held teacher-student mobilization meetings respectively, calling on all students to strive to be good people, everyone to be a "star of etiquette" and each class to be a "civilized class" to create a good school spirit, class spirit and study style.

2. Around the civilized etiquette, each class used the evening party to organize the study of etiquette knowledge, and the seventh and eighth grades also held the civilized etiquette speech contest and etiquette knowledge contest. At the same time, under the unified organization of the Political and Educational Affairs Office, each class held a theme class meeting to carry out self-examination and mutual inspection activities, so that the activities of civilized etiquette and norms were deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

3. The school has set up a civilized etiquette persuasion group to supervise and persuade students' civilized etiquette, clean and hygienic habits, safety discipline and daily behavior every day, so that students' behavior has been effectively regulated.

4. Various evaluation activities have been carried out. During the activity, the school strengthened inspection and notification, and quantified all aspects of class daily management. "Civilized Class", "Best Health Responsibility Area" and "Civilized Dormitory" were rated as high scores in daily quantification. The "Star of Civilization and Etiquette" is recommended by the class committee and produced by democratic voting, and then the candidates are recommended by the grade to participate in the "Model of Civilization and Etiquette" selection of the school. It should be said that this appraisal reflects the actual level of daily management of each class, which is worth thinking about by teachers and students.

It can be said that through publicity and mobilization and the effective development of a series of activities, the students in the whole school are enthusiastic and actively participate. In the heart of every student, the brand of "knowing etiquette and stressing civilization" has been deeply laid.

Second, civilization and fashion are constantly emerging.

1, good deeds emerge in an endless stream, and civilized fashion keeps emerging. Here, I would like to cite several good examples that emerged in the "Civilization and Etiquette Month" activities: ① 12 13 Ma Mengyuan, a student from Class 8 (2), passed by the gate of Zhongxiang No.2 Middle School in the morning and found 150 yuan cash, which was immediately handed over to the leaders of No.2 Middle School on duty at the gate. Afterwards, Zhong Xiang No.2 Middle School specially called our school and praised the excellent quality of this classmate. ② Many students take away garbage and plastic bags when they see them on campus, and some students take the initiative to hand over keys and even money to the duty room. For example, Hu Xinyu and Tian Wei in Class 7 (6) took the initiative to help the canteen staff collect the dishes and chopsticks, while Chen Xu in Class 8 (10) took the initiative to put the dishes and chopsticks left by others back. They are the student representatives of Lantai, and their behavior is worth learning.

2. The campus environment has been optimized. Compared with the past, the daily hygiene and cleaning work in the health responsibility area of each class has been better, and the hygiene in several places with long-standing hygiene problems, such as inside and outside the canteen, has also improved. What unfolds in front of us every day is a greener, more beautiful, cleaner and more fragrant campus.

3. The class spirit, study style and school spirit have been further improved. Fighting, swearing and swearing are less, scribbling and littering are less, there are more people and things that unite and observe discipline, and there are more people and things that safeguard collective interests and love campus.

In the past "Civilization and Etiquette Month" activities, we have gained a lot, and the effect of these gains is not short-lived. It will definitely have a far-reaching and positive impact on every student's future life, work and study. It should be said that the "Star of Civilized Etiquette" and "Model of Civilized Etiquette" selected this time are the representatives of the image of civilized etiquette in Lantai Middle School. We will publicize through the school website, news media and the window of the campus, so that the flowers of civilization and etiquette will bloom forever in Lantai Mountain.

Third, continue to advance and consolidate the results.

While seeing the achievements, we should also see the existing problems and shortcomings: ① A few students still have not developed good hygiene habits, and littering and trampling still occur from time to time; (2) During the break, there are still a few students chasing and fighting; Individual students' language is not civilized enough, and their words are dirty; (4) The gfd of a few students still doesn't meet the requirements, and those who don't wear school cards and wear strange clothes often exist; There are still many people who don't listen to education and contradict their parents and teachers.

"Rome wasn't built in a day", and the cultivation of good behavior habits can't be completed in a "civilized etiquette month". This depends on the long-term joint efforts of all our teachers and students. I hope that with the joint efforts of all the teachers and students in our school, students can be more strict with themselves, start from dribs and drabs, turn off dripping faucets and lights on during the day, pick up peels and scraps of paper on the ground, and help students who fall; Admit your mistakes in time when you do something wrong, accidentally bump into other students, say "I'm sorry" and get help from others to say "thank you"; Ask teachers or classmates for help if you don't understand problems in your study, and correct mistakes in your homework in time ... If you persist in this way, your shortcomings will be less and less, your advantages will be more and more, and good behavior and study habits will be formed.

Through this month of civilized etiquette, the wind of campus civilization gradually prevailed, and students' behavior habits improved significantly. In order to further consolidate the achievements of "Civilization and Politeness Month", the Political and Educational Affairs Office made a detailed statistical analysis of the quantitative situation in 65438+February. I hope that all classes will carefully analyze and sum up their experiences and make unremitting efforts to make civilized etiquette education a routine work and keep the wind of civilized etiquette on campus.
