Suzhou University is the only undergraduate college in Suzhou City, Anhui Province. It is a provincial full-time undergraduate college in Anhui Province, a demonstration application-oriented undergraduate college in Anhui Province, and a "local application-oriented high-level university construction project" in the revitalization plan of higher education in Anhui Province.

The school's predecessor was Suxian Normal School in northern Anhui, which was founded in 1949. /kloc-0 was upgraded to Suzhou Normal University in February, 1983, and to an ordinary undergraduate college in May, 2004. In 2008, he was awarded a bachelor's degree and passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education in 20 14 years.

Suzhou Institute of Education (formerly Suxian Regional Institute of Education) was established with the approval of the provincial government 1979, and has been put on record by the Ministry of Education, and is qualified to issue junior college diplomas.
