The library has more than 600,000 books and 384,000 e-books. The collection structure is mainly biological and medical books, taking into account the newly established disciplines and majors in the school. Since the establishment of the library, successive leaders of the school have attached great importance to the periodical literature construction of the library. There are 654 1 periodicals in the library, including 735 foreign periodicals 1. There are two kinds of periodicals 18 12, including foreign periodicals 19 1 kind and Chinese periodicals 162 1 kind. After years of development, the library has built an automation platform supported by 1 1 server, 22TB storage array and 586 information points, with more than 250 computers of various types, 5 imported databases1,and 7 self-built characteristic databases. The library is also a member library of resource sharing platforms such as "Guizhou Sci-tech Literature Resource Sharing Platform" and "China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Library". At the same time, it has established the relationship of document delivery and inter-library exchange with CALIS National Medical Center, Capital Medical University, Sichuan University and other university libraries, and also exchanged gifts with all journals of 392 universities and research institutes nationwide. After years of hard work, the library has established a collection resource system that can meet the basic needs of teaching, scientific research and medical care in our school, providing a strong resource guarantee for the school.
