According to the official website of Apple Books, the Apple Book Store was forcibly removed from the shelves on February 5th, 20021year.

Apple Books is one of the applications that are no longer pre-installed on new iOS or ipad devices. You need to go to the AppStore, enter books in the search bar, and then the app will appear at the top of the results list, just below the sponsored app.
