What is an e-book?
E-books are electronic books. Using photoelectric technology, a vast number of ancient books can be concentrated and stored in a laser disk with a diameter of 13 cm. If we store an encyclopedia with 900 million entries, it may only take up one-fifth of the total storage space on the disk, and four-fifths of the space is available. This kind of book stored on disk is an e-book.

E-books can be read, listened to, written, narrated and music. The photos and illustrations in the book appear in the form of animation. Reading e-books gives people the enjoyment of sound and words.

Walking into the electronic library, I saw rows of computers with bright spots, an automatic book borrowing system with bar code recognition, a computer output microfilm card cabinet and an electronic monitoring system. There are a large number of e-books and various electronic publications here. As long as the reader presses the keyboard, the content to be searched will quickly appear on the display screen.
