Sun Wensheng was born in the 24th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (18 19) and died in the 18th year of Guangxu (189 1). Sun Wen, a painter born in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, once painted more than 230 pieces of Dream of Red Mansions in 24 volumes with large-scale colored silk. His painting ideas are rigorous, the plot is coherent, the brushwork is exquisite, the color is rich, and the characters are very vivid. When the whole map was drawn, Sun Wen was over the age of ancient times. However, Sun Wen's name does not appear in the history of painting and local chronicles, and his life is still little known.
