Zhejiang Media College, known as "Guangzhou in the North and Guangzhou in the South of Zhejiang", is a university approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and is one of the two bases for training media professionals such as radio and film in China. Since its establishment more than 30 years ago, the school has sent a large number of professionals to the central and local media industries. At present, there are more than 3000 full-time students/kloc-0, mainly in media and art, with the coordinated development of literature, economics, engineering and management.

China is the second largest media college and one of the top ten film and television colleges in China. With advanced teaching and experimental equipment, the school has become a regional radio, film and television information center in China. The 22-story studio building has a variety of 17 studios, which is a radio and television program production base integrating teaching, scientific research and social services. The school has two campuses, located in Hangzhou and Tongxiang, a famous city in the south of the Yangtze River. The school covers an area of 1.286 mu, with a total construction area of nearly 6 1.000 square meters. Among them, Xiasha Campus covers an area of 786 mu, with a construction area of nearly 450,000 square meters; Tongxiang Campus covers an area of 500 mu, with a building area of 6,543,800 square meters.
