The middle school affiliated to Jining University is located in the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, next to the canal. Its predecessor was Yangfang Township Primary School, which was founded in 1952. It was renamed Tsinghua East Primary School, Experimental Primary School, Jining No.7 Middle School and Jining No.4 Middle School.
