Studying about Japanese libraries in Japan
Every university in Japan has a library. As long as students (with student ID cards) are studying in the school, they can enter or borrow books.

There are many comprehensive universities and campuses in Japan. In this case, the comprehensive library (the largest) may be located in our school, and each branch school may only have branch libraries (small scale) or professional libraries.

In addition, every city or district within a city also has a corresponding citizen library or district library. However, the scale and content of library collections are different from those of universities, and the level is low.

The larger libraries, such as Tokyo Shinjuku Comprehensive Library and Chiyoda Comprehensive Library, are all large in scale and have a lot of books.

There are books on philosophy and history. But they are all in Japanese.
