2. The examination mechanism is different.

There are two ways of IELTS test: academic and training, which consists of four parts: listening, reading, writing and speaking. 3. The examination time is different.

The IELTS test lasts about 3.5 hours, divided into 40 minutes for listening, 60 minutes for reading, 60 minutes for writing and11-4 minutes for speaking.

The TOEFL test lasts about 4.5 hours. In reading and listening, half of the candidates will encounter additional questions, and reading will add 40 minutes (the reading time of two articles). 4. Different degrees of recognition
