Shougang Technician College was founded in 1954, and its predecessor was Shougang Technical School. In June 2009, with the approval of Beijing Municipal Government, it became one of the five technician colleges in the city. The college is located on the west side of Jinyuan Bridge on the Fifth Ring Road in the west of Beijing, adjacent to Shougang Basketball Center, with convenient transportation and superior school conditions.
