Through hard work, all colleges have been properly placed: the headquarters is in Yiyuan, the Science College is in Gujia Ancestral Hall, the College of Literature is in Canglang Pavilion, the Law School is in Jincheng Bank Warehouse, the Engineering College is in Dingjia Ancestral Hall, the Agricultural College is in the backyard of Lion Forest, the Medical College is in Yinma Bridge on Zhongzheng Road, and the library is in Hunan Guild Hall. 1948 10 June10, the official opening ceremony was held in the headquarters of Yiyuan, and classes were held in various colleges. But at that time, books, instruments, research and experimental equipment were left in Kaifeng, and teachers and students were quite depressed. In order to calm people's hearts, improve their mood and increase the interest of teachers and students in reading and research, the school specially invited many famous scholars and experts to give lectures. Such as historian Mr. Qian Mu, director of the Central Library Mr. Jiang Fuzong, educator Mr. Wang, philosopher Mr. Feng Youlan, biologist Mr. Bing, veteran of southern Henan, etc., have aroused everyone's interest and patriotic thoughts. It is particularly worth mentioning that many students from Kaifeng middle school and junior college also came to Suzhou with students who were harmonious at that time and their families. Based on the hearts of fellow villagers, President Yao Congwu also asked the school to resettle them.
