Xinzhou teachers university new campus construction project is located in the east of Qiyi Road, south of Xu Lai Street, west of Yunzhong Road and north of Dunqi Street, covering an area of about 16 19 mu. The total construction area of the project is 4610.8 million square meters, including teaching building, laboratory building, library, gymnasium and student dormitory canteen, with a total investment of about 654.38+0.9 billion yuan. After being completed in two phases, it can meet the normal teaching and living needs of about 20,000 students.

Xinzhou teachers university, formerly known as Xinxian Teachers College, was founded in 1958, and 1978+0 was renamed as xinzhou teachers university. 1998 In September, the school merged with Xinzhou Education College, Xinzhou Staff University and Xinzhou Radio and TV University Branch to form xinzhou teachers university. In March 2000, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of xinzhou teachers university on the basis of the merger of the former xinzhou teachers university and Xinzhou Teachers College.
