Wujiang Library has a reasonable layout and comfortable environment. Its main activity positions are: children's lending room, periodical reading room, book lending room, electronic reading room, document retrieval room, ancient books reading room, Braille reading room, lecture hall, exhibition hall and training room.

Wujiang Library, located in Jiangnan Water Town, was founded in 19 17. Due to the disaster of the war and the changes of the times, the library has been repeatedly upgraded and abolished, and gradually expanded.

At the end of 1980, Wujiang Library reopened alone. 1985, the new Wujiang County Library located in Fuxi Road, Songling Town, Wujiang County was completed and opened, with an area of 1380 square meters. 1992 Wujiang was removed from the county to build the city, and the county library was renamed as the city library, and it was expanded to1760m2 in 1993.

In March 2000, Wujiang Library moved to Yongkang Road 129, Songling Town, with an area of 3,540 square meters. With the rapid development of society, economy and librarianship, in April 2006, the new Wujiang Library with an investment of nearly 60 million yuan and an area of10.6 million cubic meters was completed and opened to the public. The collection of books has grown from 77,000 at that time to more than 1 10,000 at present.
