If people can do nothing and have no desire, how can there be so many troubles, depression, fights and quarrels, and there will be no war? This is not doing nothing, but doing everything. When your eyes are not fascinated by desire, won't you unconsciously pursue a spiritual interrogation and pursuit? Poor fantasy works, thinking that the ancients were not smart, Lao Tzu talked about the truth that modern people can't understand in the third chapter, but he was entangled in it, deceiving himself and others, is it ridiculous?
It is the rule of saints: hollowing out their hearts, strengthening their bellies, weakening their aspirations and strengthening their bones. An empty heart refers to the heart of fame and fortune, which fills the stomach and weakens the will. His will should not mean to be a general, an emperor or a rich man, so as to persuade him to be strong. It often makes people ignorant and have no desire, so that the virtuous dare not do it. In extreme cases, if people have no desire for fame and wealth, no one will think they are smart. It is the actions of corrupt officials today that arouse people's fame and fortune and create disasters. Bribery is also for this. Have those who complain about the cruelty of reality ever thought that the reason for this cruelty is your inner heart of fame and fortune? Lao Tzu summed it up very well. Although people's desires are innate, shouldn't we control them for our healthy life?
