The library of Shihezi University is divided into four venues, namely, the central main library, the northern branch library, the eastern branch library and the Wujiaqu branch library.

The Central Library has more than 200 microcomputer electronic reading rooms, multimedia academic lecture halls and learning spaces, equipped with more than 30 servers, and the network storage capacity reaches 130TB. It can provide readers with computer software application training, literature retrieval, information query, online roaming, video on demand, large-scale database retrieval at home and abroad, sci-tech novelty retrieval, literature delivery, interlibrary loan and other services.
