Does science have the attribute of civilization?
The proposition that "science has the attribute of civilization" is obviously one-sided. The analysis is as follows:

First of all, science can be divided into natural science and social science (linguistics and logic, emerging interdisciplinary subjects will not be discussed first).

Then for natural science, there will definitely be no civilized attribute.

Because civilization will be deeply branded with class and have distinct class characteristics in the process of its emergence, it will certainly serve the class it represents. Mathematics, physics and other natural sciences have no class nature. These sciences serve all mankind, slaves, slave owners, capitalists and workers.

Social sciences, on the other hand, have obvious class tendencies, such as philosophy and economics, which always exist to safeguard the interests of a certain class, so they must have civilized attributes.

However, the inconsistency between ancient eastern and western civilizations in natural science was not caused by their different civilizations, but by the actual situation facing the east and west at that time: the eastern civilization focused on solving agricultural problems, while the western civilization focused on solving marine problems.
