Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology College is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province. It is a provincial public full-time undergraduate college, a pilot college for the reform of the national education and training plan for outstanding talents in agriculture and forestry, and the first batch of pilot colleges for overall transformation in Jilin Province.
The school was formed by the merger of the former Jilin Agricultural School and the former Jilin Professional College. In 2003, the former Jilin Agricultural School was merged into the former Jilin College. In May 2004, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to Jilin College of Agricultural Science and Technology.
