After several generations' efforts and nearly a hundred years' development and accumulation, Xixi Branch Library of Arts and Sciences has formed the collection characteristics of both arts and sciences, and has a rich collection of literature, history, philosophy and basic disciplines. After more than 80 years of development, the Agriculture (Huajiachi) Branch Library has become one of the largest agricultural and biological literature collection and service institutions in Zhejiang Province, especially in the collections of agriculture, horticulture, soil science, plant protection, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, environmental science, food science, agricultural economy and other disciplines.
