The library of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (formerly Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine) was established in May 1959. After several relocations, the new library building was completed and put into use in the new campus of Wan Li in September 2004.

The library has become the document information center of Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, forming a multi-disciplinary document collaborative collection pattern with Chinese medicine education as the main body, and realizing the automation, network management and service of the library.

The library has 8 stacks, 5 large reading rooms for books and periodicals, 1 electronic reading room and 3 large study rooms. The whole museum has more than 2000 reading seats. By the end of 20 1 1, the collection of paper and electronic books 1.5 million copies, and the purchase and construction of more than 20 electronic resource databases by ourselves.

Distribution of different floors:

First floor: school honor room, academic lecture hall and study room;

The second floor: editorial department, circulation department, medical information research center, book lending office (including eight stacks), professional reference reading room, electronic reading room, Jiang Zhong special collection showroom and two courses teaching department;

The third floor: periodical department, literature retrieval discipline group, technical department, current issue reading room, back issue reading room, special collection reading room of ancient books, and reader training classroom;

Fourth floor: curator's office, library office, Chinese medicine herbarium.
