The editor of MV is Jay Chou, telling the story of Sherlock Holmes, a famous detective in 1983 12. On this day, the blue rose murder happened, with Jay Chou as a detective, Yu Hao of Nan Quan Mama as a detective's assistant and bullets as a suspect.
The only clues left at the murder scene in a park on the outskirts of London are a blue rose in the mouth of the deceased and a young man who escaped suspiciously. Detectives and assistants began to look at blue roses, visited flower shops, old people and even went to the library to find information, and finally found the coffee shop where the suspect worked. During the chase, the suspect was injured and fled;
The two had to go back to the coffee shop, ask the suspect's residence address and find the truth step by step. In the story, Yu Hao needs to hit Jay Chou on the head with a helmet. In fact, Yu Hao is ostensibly the assistant of detective "Jay Holmes", but a murderer must leave a "blue witch" (blue rose) at the crime scene after each murder.
In the previous murder, it happened to be photographed by a warhead who likes photography, so in order to kill him, the warhead became the target of Yu Hao's murder (at the end of the play, it was expressed in the form of narration). At the scene of a detective investigation, warhead passed by and saw detective assistant Yu Hao. He turned and ran in fear of being killed.
The strange act of running away when meeting a detective naturally made detective Jay take the warhead as a suspect, and then he has been chasing it with Yu Hao. But the purpose of the two is different, one is to solve the case and the other is to kill people. During an investigation, Jay was shot in the back of the head and passed out. Later, Yu Hao found the warhead's residence, burned the photos recording his murder, and killed the warhead.
Then go back to the scene where Jay was knocked unconscious and pretend to faint. Jay woke up and rescued Yu Hao from the scene. While carrying Yu Hao, Jay saw the ring on Yu Hao's right index finger. Before I was knocked unconscious, a picture flashed in my mind: "A right hand with a ring on its index finger knocked him down from behind", so Jay Chou understood the truth.

Song background—
The seventh chapter of Night is a song from Jay Chou's album Still Fan Texi on September 5th, 2006. Composed by Jay Chou and written by Huang Junlang, the story of Sherlock Holmes, a famous detective in 1983, is expressed metaphorically in suspense.
The rapid sound of typewriters begins, clues are hidden in Sherlock Holmes' diary, classical music and electronic music blend with each other, and Jay Chou's monologue rap becomes Sherlock Holmes leading the audience to find the truth of the murder.
In order to write this detective song, Huang Junlang spent 3,000 to 4,000 yuan on many props: heather pipe, walking stick, top hat, pistol and cloak; Imagine that Holmes wrote lyrics on this theme. His musical imagination in Jay Chou, with the light of the iris badge, ran wildly on Baker Street, Westminster Abbey and the Thames.
There is not a lip-synching picture in the whole MV. At the beginning of the MV, the director designed the film title, photos of the murder scene, introduction of characters and special effects subtitles. The soundtrack of the film is different from the singing version contained in the album. In order to lay out the plot, Jay Chou wrote a soundtrack that matched the situation. Jay Chou made this MV into a 7-minute MV movie version and included it in the DVD of the album Still Fan Texi.
