Sungkyunkwan University Library has a history as long as Sungkyunkwan University. The first library, named "Zunjing Pavilion", was built during the reign of Emperor Chengzong 1475, and King Chengzong donated books 10000, which was subjected to several wars in the late Korean era (1392- 19 10). The newly-built library system includes central library, science and technology library, law library, medical library and audio-visual center. By 2006, there were *** 1, 579,500 books and more than 70,000 electronic publications. Most of the books in the Central Library are books on humanities and social sciences, and there are also rare Korean books. The Science and Technology Museum is located in the natural campus. Founded in 1979, it moved into the new building in 1983, with a collection of 560,000 scientific and technological books. Up to now, there are nearly 65438+ ten thousand books on Confucianism alone. The library system 1994 realizes computerized management and provides network or CD-ROM retrieval, so that users can browse all the collected materials conveniently. Through the local area network, users can also browse the full-text images of rare books in the collection. The library will also strive to provide better services for all teachers and students through the realization of digital library.
