After more than 50 years' construction and development, the library of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology has collected 1.3 million books, 650,000 e-books and 1079 Chinese and foreign periodicals, purchased 26 mirror images and online databases in Chinese and foreign languages, and built its own characteristic resource library 14. It has formed a multi-disciplinary collection system with the combination of arts and sciences, the coexistence of various document carriers and the rich literature resources of light industry books.

All the literature resources in the library have been automatically managed and networked, and the local area network has begun to take shape. HP storage system with SAN structure is established. By 20 14, the storage capacity is 26T, and there are 14 application servers. An electronic reading room with system-wide network communication and single hard disk protection function is established. The automatic management software of gold disk is adopted to realize the automatic management of book borrowing.
