Introduction of Yangzhou Library
Yangzhou Library, formerly known as Subei Library, was founded in March of 1950, renamed Yangzhou Library of Jiangsu Province in March of 1953, and set up branches in Jiangdu and Taizhou in June of 1956, and now it is renamed as 1957. It is a national first-class public library named by the Ministry of Culture. It was awarded "National Advanced Cultural Collective" by the Ministry of Personnel and the Ministry of Culture. The current address is located at No.349 Weiyang Road, the political and cultural center of Yangzhou West New District. The building area is10300m2. Its simple and elegant shape, spacious and comfortable, quiet and beautiful environment have become the cultural landmark of Yangzhou.
